Grayhaze - 8-Ball skin

Just out of curiosity, are you still working on that 8-Ball skin, I remember you saying that is was similar to the MMX mercury skin for the Mac.

I also seem to remember that you get alot of email from people that want things from you and they neglect to say please and thank you.

Please could you give an update on how the skin stands at the moment?

Well it's around half-completed, but I haven't really had the time to work on it, or any other skins for that matter, for a while now due to some new non-skinning projects. The possibility of it ever getting finished and released is still there, but for the time being it only exists as a weird hybrid with metalX and some sliced-up images in Fireworks.

If demand is high enough, I will probably do some more work on it after I've finished the current web site project I've been working on.

Although it bears some similarities to the MMX Mercury skin, it's really grown beyond that and now has a style very much of its own. Imagine a square window skin with high-contrast polished white and black areas, and rounded buttons in a similar vein to metalX. Alternatively, just look at an 8-ball and imagine it as a skin.
